Edgewater Sandwich Drive
Some of Edgewater High School’s clubs joined famous professional athletes at a volunteer event this week. They helped One Heart make sandwiches for the Orlando homeless community at Edgewater High School’s gymnasium. In all, 5,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were made and distributed.
Among the volunteers were Nate Moran (safe coordinator of Edgewater), Michael Attardi (NFL Alumni played for LA Raiders), Jemile Weeks (professional baseball player and founder of WEfam), and Ricky Weeks Sr.(Jemile’s father and also a former professional baseball player).
